Back in 1986 Andy Zimmerman gave birth to a kayak company named Wilderness Systems. Andy saw the need for a better recreational kayak with a more comfortable seat than the plastic slab people were used to sitting on. Over the next 19 years, Wilderness Systems has continued to evolve, branching out into touring kayaks, sailing kayaks, and the well known Windrider trimaran. The Pungo is the flagship of the Wilderness Systems line. The Phase 3 seat surpasses all other kayak seats in comfort. We are proud to offer Wilderness Systems kayaks.

Pungo 120: The Pungo is one of the best selling kayaks in the world. Stable, and easy to enter and exit, a perfect platform for fishing or photography. The new Pungo is stiffer, tracks better, and with the Phase 3 seat surpasses all other kayak seats in comfort. Standard equipment includes a large rear hatch and bulkhead. Available with the Angler package.
Pungo 120 Duralite

Pungo 120 Duralite: Using a thinner wall of reinforced polyethylene, the Pungo 120 Duralite weighs 10 lbs less than the Pungo 120. If you'll use a kayak more because it weighs less, check out the Duralite Pungo. Standard equipment includes a large rear hatch and bulkhead.
Pungo 140

Pungo 140: As comfortable and stable as the Pungo 120, with more hull speed, and more carrying capacity, the 140 is a joy to paddle, with or without a load of camping gear. Standard equipment includes a large rear hatch, bulkhead, and bow hatch. Available with the Angler package.
Pamlico 145T

Pamlico 145T: Enjoy both solo and tandem paddling. Small enough to handle by yourself, large enough to paddle with a partner or child. For the family looking for just one kayak, the Pamlico 145T does it all. Suggested with a rudder to help maintain course.

Tarpon 120

Tarpon 120: If summer-only paddling is your goal; when the air temperature is 90, and the water temperature is 80 a sit on top kayak is perfect. No cockpit to get into, no sprayskirt to fuss with, easy to re-enter if you like to swim off of your boat. Simple, and efficient. This is also a great way to fish! Available with optional Angler package (shown above).
Tarpon 140

Tarpon 140: The bigger brother to the Tarpon 120, with enough stability to stand and cast from if you have good balance and steady nerves. Put a large dry bag in the back, store gear in the front hatch and hit the river for an extended trip.
