Necky's recreational line focuses on versatility. They are easy enough to paddle for the complete beginner but capable of almost any situation you throw at them. Ample volume in the bow and stern keep them riding high and dry in wind and waves, and flared hulls give them amazingly good speed for their overall dimensions. Unlike many recreational kayaks, Necky's rec boats have more advanced designs, making them capable of performing most of the "advanced" techniques usually only possible in full-on sea kayaks.

The Manitou Sport is a shorter, slightly wider version of the Manitou. Like its big sister, the Sport is a scaled-down sea kayak; efficient, stable, fun. Rear hatch and bulkhead are standard.
